Hair prep guide for your bridal trial

Ahhh, it’s time for your bridal hair trial—one step closer to seeing your dream wedding look come to life! I’m so excited to meet you, talk all things bridal beauty, and create a hairstyle that makes you feel absolutely like the best version of yourself. To make sure we get the most out of your trial, here’s everything you need to prep beforehand!

Before Your Trial:

Gather Your Inspo & Details
Please send me:
✔️ 2-4 of your favorite hairstyle images (so I can get a feel for your vision!)
✔️ A photo of your wedding dress (this helps me curate a style that is just for you)
✔️ Any hair extensions & accessories you plan to use (veils, clips, headpieces, etc.)
✔️ A photo of your hair in natural light (both front & back) with its natural texture—this helps me suggest styles that will work best for your hair type!

Wash & Dry Your Hair
Wash your hair the night before using a mild or clarifying shampoo with a hydrating conditioner. Keep post-wash products to a minimum—no heavy oil or styling products. Just leave-in conditioners, light serums, or oils will be best. Heavy products can affect how your hair holds the style.

Wear the Right Outfit
To better visualize your final bridal look, wear something that mimics your wedding dress—a white top, a loose-fitted blouse, or a button-down shirt are great choices!

What to Bring to Your Trial:

All the Accessories – If you plan to wear a veil, hairpiece, or statement jewelry, bring them along! This helps us see the full picture of your bridal glam.

Hair Extensions (If Using Them) – If you have clip-in extensions, make sure they are washed, dried, and brushed out before your trial. No need to pre-curl them—I’ll take care of that during our appointment!
